I stare at these varied blocks of color thinking that they would reveal some sort of universal message like, "World Peace is at hand" or something as far off as that.
These blocks are like codes, just like the red, yellow, and green of the traffic lights scattered around the metropolis. Always present, yet vaguely understood. What do these blocks say? Do they speak softly to you as they do to me? "Read me. Hear me.", they say...Barely heard, barely there.
Finally! The MINI THESIS is done. About 9 out of 15 peeps decided to defend yesterday in order to get into this school years Thesis class.
Thoughts: So today is the official start of my summer vacation. Ang pathetic...boohoo. School starts in less than 2 weeks. And within those 2 weeks, registration will be on june 5-15. So parang 4 days lang ang bakasyon ko. SAD...
Lately I've been obsessed with youtube...Been watching Akazukin Chacha and jpop videos. This one's by Utada Hikaru. The song just takes me somewhere else...Ah Lhavs IT!

The trip to Batangas-Taal turned out to be a great adventure despite the disappointments leading up to it. A lot of people said that they were sure of going but eventually only Tanya, Mighty, Carlo, and I were true to our word. Mga DRAWING kayong mga di sumama...
Scenes from Taal Lake
Pure and unexpectedly beautiful.

Generally accurate except maybe the "warm" description in the first line. Survey says that "intimidating" would be a better word.
School is about to start in a few weeks and I thought I'd try to get serious on doing research on some academic topics that have caught my attention. I've been on "research mode" for the past week and therefore felt a bit wound up. Luckily, while surfing the Net I came across this short narrative, which included a photo...
Five Sisters left the Convent for a trip to St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City and were sight-seeing on a Tuesday in July. It was hot and humid in town, and their traditional garb was making them uncomfortable. They decided to stop for a cold soft drink at Patty McGuire's Pub. Patty had recently added special legs to his bar stools which were the talk of the fashionable eastside neighborhood. All the Nuns sat up at the bar and were enjoying their cokes when Monsignor Riley entered the bar from the front door with Father McGinty. They also needed cold drinks, but they were shocked and almost fainted at what they saw!
At my wits end, it's just the LaUGh break I needed to re-energize and continue working. :P
Labor Day turned out to be a lovely one. I had gone to a fiesta in Bulacan under the invitation of a good friend. It turned out to be a reunion of sorts as the day was spent with old volleyball teammates and friends musing over the past. Oh happy day!
I took these shots as the sun was setting.
Skies the Limit. The sky says it all as it reflects the end of a blissful day. (Sigh.)
How did this happen? We grew up together and live in the same house, and yet we are strangers. I stare at the un-answering screen and ponder, Dear brother, how did we get like this? Such a sad, sad thought.
Last night was fun as I spent it with Leigh and Lisa's family and some highschool friends. We played some poker (which if I may say so is very ADDICTING), had some drinks, and then played more poker. A mini-tournament with 2 sets of 6 players was set up. The top 3 from both groups played until 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place were finally achieved. Naka 3rd pa ako and I was able to win my money back (thank God!)considering that I had only started playing recently...Hahaaha! Galing kasi ng Poker Face ko! D mabasa kasi d ko lam ginagawa ko...hihihi! I really had a blast! Can't wait for Wednesday to arrive so we can all play again!

A few days ago Mr. Behringer sent an SMS announcing that the Inquirer would be featuring his house in one of their issues. Jess, Jin and I worked on some paintings for him last January and now he wants the Inquirer to mention our names as well. Woohoo!
A LITTLE BACK TRACKING...I think it was last month where Wish and Mr. Behringer contacted us to say that he has a place in Cebu that he would like us to furnish with more paintings. Naturally, we were flattered that he thoroughly enjoyed our first set of works so we were happy to oblige. :)
I remember yesterday, the world was so young (ala Bearbrand)

According to jess the symbol directly behind me is a fertility symbol. I had no idea that that's what it meant! Wah! Maybe it's a sign! Immaculate conception! YES! I'm going straight to heaven! HHEHEHEEH.
